I illustrated and designed this set of posters for the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau in North Carolina as a part of their campaign to inform residents of the statewide requirements in response to the spread of COVID-19. In addition to the illustrations, I also helped to determine the visual direction of the series based on the copy that was created by the copywriters.
The goal was to create a series that was both stylish and informative to capture the attention of citizens of the county in order to ensure they were taking the proper measures to protect themselves and the community. The illustration references the style of vintage PSA and public health posters, but my posters have a contemporary twist by including a diverse cast of people in modern environments.
This project was completed while I was working as a creative intern at Clean Design.
Note: Two people are wearing neck gaiters in one of the posters. This is because the poster was designed before the CDC discouraged the use of neck gaiters in public spaces.
